Each envelope is postmarked in different places along each respective trail. Some have unique, associated stamps, and all are signed by participants in the Wagon Train trips. The first envelope is from "THE OREGON TRAIL, A HISTORIC JOURNET TO THE BICENTENNIAL". It has three postage stamps: Nebraska Territorial Centennial 1854-1954; Oregon Territory Centennial 1848-1948; and American Revolution Bicentennial 1776-1976. It is postmarked Jun 16 1975 Independence, MO, and also Se 5 Oregon City, Oreg.. It is also signed by 7 Wagon Train participants. The second envelope is from "THE SANTA FE TRAIL, A HISTORIC JOURNEY TO JOIN THE PAST AND FUTURE, BOX 1775 RIVERTON, WYOMING 82501" It has 1 postage stamp and is postmarked at 3 locations: June 10,1978 Independence Square Station, Missouri; Jul 4 1978 Dodge City, KS; and Aug 5,1978, Santa Fe, NM. It is also signed by 8 Wagon Train participants. The third envelope is from "THE oREGON TRAIL, A JOURNEY TO RECORD OUR HISTORIC PAST, RIVERTON AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE...RIVERTON, WYOMING 82501...".It has 3 postage stamps: Crazy Horse, Pearl Buck, & Carl Schurz. It is postmarked at 3 locations: Jun 3 1985, Fort Laramie, WY; Jun 10 1985, Casper, WY; and Jul 4 1985, Fort Bridger, WY. It is also signed by 6 Wagon Train participants. All in fine, bright condition.
