The letter is signed as Adelaide Manning, C. H. Coles, and Manning Coles. The original mailing envelope is also included. The author's third book where Tommy Hambledon is asked to learn why so many ships, after a short journey out of the port of Portsmouth, are being sunk. His investigation leads to murder.
