Six Guns 1860 says, "Primarily concerns John Wesley Hardin and his fellow desperadoes of Texas. The author brings in many gunmen of the early days, tells about the killing of Ben Thompson and King Fisher and the hanging of Bill Longley, and gives some information about Wild Bill Hickok." This copy contains a typed and signed letter dated August 22, 1935, by the author to the former owner of this book explaining about some of the photographs in the book. Also the owner of this copy has made pencil notations on the letter explaining the basis for his question. Former owner's bookplate on front pastedown sheet and letter neatly affixed to the rear pastedown sheet, else a fine, bright copy in dust jacket lightly sunned on the spine, light wear to the spine ends, corners and extremities.
