Saunders, President of the Old Trail Drivers Association. These original 2 volumes were very crudely printed and bound, making it very difficult to find copies that aren't loose and heavily worn. The first volume was exhausted before the second volume appeared; therefore it was reprinted in 1924 with some revisions and additions in an edition of 500 copies with a "second edition" imprint...In spite of the crudeness of the two volumes, they are perhaps the most important single contribution to the history of cattle driving on the Western trails."--Ramon Adams.
