Pictorial wrappers, 12 pp. The address delivered at the 1948 unveiling of Alec Phimister Proctor's sculpture of Seven Mustangs at the University of Texas at Austin, and sent out by Bertha and Frank Dobie as a Christmas remembrance in 1948. Dobie tells the story of the impact that the introduction of the horse had on life in the Americas, with an emphasis on the American West. Fine copy.
