Al Colby made it his business to mix in other people's troubles, so when Pancha Porter hired him to investigate the mysterious goings-on at her silver mine in San Martin Coquellache, Bolivia, he jumped at the chance. After all Pancha was a beautiful woman and she was very rich. Colby went up into the mountains and was greeted with the murder of the mine's manager, and more blood was spilled before he found out why the mine was being sabotaged and what the peculiar significance of the red tassel was.
