9 1/2" x 11 1/2" String-tied scrap book, 50 leaves, 27 leaves with clippings pasted on both sides plus some loose newspaper clippings laid-in. All clippings deal with Will Rogers. A scrapbook of newspaper clippings containing stories and pictures of Will Rogers from an advertisement for the release of his movie Down To Earth in late 1932, through and inclusive of his tragic death in mid-1935. Material related to his death and the aftermath are on leaves 13 through 27. This is a real "Labor of Love" by someone who greatly admired and enjoyed Will Rogers. Most of the clippings are taken from Boston newspapers. An interesting assemblage of Will Roger's news stories. All in very good condition.
