An historical offering for Las Vegas, New Mexico including its early history, the comings of the Americans, Cabeza De Baca, early schools, newspapers, churches, outlaws and lawmen, etc. Six Guns 2109 says "Rare," and "Has a chapter on Vicente Silva and another on outlaws and lawlessness. His account of the capture of Billy the Kid and Rudabaugh at Sinking Springs is quoted from the Las Vegas Optic. There is some material on Doc Holliday and many others of Las Vegas' lawless days."
