With Ali MacGraw, Ben Johnson, and Slim Pickens as supporting actors. Doc McCoy is a career criminal, fresh out of a stint in prison. His wife, Carol, is less savvy than her husband, but every bit as ruthless. The two rob a bank, and now they're on the run In an underworld populated by low-lifes, things don't go exactly as planned. Cover art by Robert "Bob" Abbett, who was commissioned for about 20 Signet titles, and began working as an illustrator for pulp magazines like "True," "Argosy," and "Zane Grey's Western Magazine." Scarce and a desirable collector's copy.
