This booklet is touting their service New York to Chicago to attend the Columbian Exposition being held there. Starting on May 28th and running every day of the year from then on, they promised to leave Grand Central Station in New York City at 3 p.m. and arrive in Chicago the next morning at 10 a. m., making the run in precisely twenty hours. The Exposition Flyer is billed as the fastest train on earth as it ran a mile in 32 seconds, which is at the rate of about 112 miles per hour. The map outlines the route from New York City to Chicago in red. One panel is devoted to a picture of Engine 999 with a record of a mile in 32 seconds. Three full panel views are shown of the interior of the Exposition Flyer. They advise the between Albany and Buffalo there are four tracks for the entire distance of 300 miles, two tracks devoted exclusively to passenger trains and two devoted to freight trains.
