First edition. 8vo. One of 500 autographed copies printed for the author at his expense, each copy numbered, to correct many misleading and distorted stories dealing with the battle of the Little Big Horn. This is copy 189. Cream-colored printed wrappers, 36 pp., frontispiece (portrait of Capt. F. W. Benteen), foreword, illustrated, portraits. An important booklet as Benteen was not a fan of Custer and his report does much to question Custer's judgment. A fine copy of a scarce and important booklet.
