This thoroughly researched and well-edited work records 245 letters written by Wyeth between 1831 & 1835 to family, as well as, John Ball, Capt. Bonneville, Dr. John McLoughlin, Thomas Fitzpatrick, Wm. Sublette, Francis Ermatinger, among others. Also records Wyeth's daily journals from two fur trade expeditions. Important addition to any Fur Trade or Mountain Man collection. Considerable chipping to edges and spine ends of fragile wrappers, else very good. Recommended.
