The Blue Door. Murder - Mystery - Detection In Ten Thrill-Packed Novelettes.

VINCENT STARRETT

Publication: Doubleday, Doran & Company, Inc, 1930, Garden City

First edition. 8vo.Light wear to front and rear endpapers, tiny bump to top front corner, else a very good copy in a fine, bright fresh dust jacket. Of the ten novelettes, two are Jimmie Lavender stories; two are bibliomysteries, one about a missing volume of Edgar Allen Poe's poems, and the other deals with an antiquarian book-dealer as an amateur detective; and the remaining six stories cover a broad range of mystery plots. A beautiful copy. Crime Club mystery.
