The Santa Fe system further comments, "Recently, large sums of money have been spent by the Santa Fe in expanding and improving many of the dining stations. The capacity of the lunch rooms has been doubled ortripled. The enlargement of the facilities is necessary to meet the heavy demand caused by increased travel. At whatever cost the standard must be maintained." A few lower corner pages have been creased, an old very small water stain to the bottom edge of the rear cover, else a very good copy.
