Casey of Alpine, Texas to prepare the following studies on several of the historic districts in the Park. Dr. Casey, former Professor of History and Chairman of the Department of Social Studies at Sul Ross State College, has devoted much of his life to the history of Big Bend. Three studies are bound together in this report and each deals with a distinct theme of the Big Bend story. The themes are, U. S. Army occupation, mining, and ranching. Protected in a clear plastic cover with former owner's inked name at top of title page, else the booklet is in very good condition and scarce.
