"The rapid growth of San Antonio dates from 1876, when the first railway (Sunset Route) entered the city. From 1879-1880 to 1887, the population increased from 14,894 to 42,570; from 1900 to 1910, the population increased from 53,321 to 96,614. Today (1929) the population of San Antonio exceeds two hundred thousand." Fine, bright copy.
