First edition. Second Printing. 8vo. Yellow Pictorial Cloth, vii-viii, 1-[312] pp., illustrated by S. Harrison, 9 maps, 14 photographs of Rendezvous sites, preface, introduction, footnotes, bibliography. The annual rendezvous was an important event in perpetuating the viability of the early Rocky Mountain Fur Trade. This scarce work uses detailed maps and pictures of the actual rendezvous sites, in addition to the journals, diaries, and letters of the participants to present a record of the annual rendezvous from 1825 through 1840. A fine copy of a scarce work and especially scarce in the cloth binding.
