5 3/4" x 7 1/2" in thick gray paper boards with title (Kittredge Ranche) in manuscript on front cover and tied at spine with brown twine. Contains 24 - 3 3/4" x 4 3/4" silver print photographs and tissue guards. An intriguing album of ranch and farm life photographs. Pictures include a two-story log cabin ranch house, two tenants' cottages, a windmill, scenes of workers mowing, binding, measuring, stacking and threshing with equipment pulled by horses, scenes of farm fields; a view of Box Canyon by the Cripple Creek Road, a mountain view through two outcroppings; families are shown sitting on the porch, a woman posing by a western-saddled horse, four children and a cat wait in the buggy pulled by a white mule, adults chuckling; the interior living room with its "Hearthstone" fireplace and glassed-in book shelf; what appears to be an electrical line pole; Slater Creek, Box Canon, etc. Nine images show strong tonality, others in various strengths. 3" closed tear to foot of front wrapper along with rear cover of album detached. A wonderful collection.
