The author, Josiah Perham, was the first president of the Northern Pacific Railroad Company. This booklet presents the by-laws of the newly formed railroad company and the address of Mr. Josiah Perham. Eberstadt 132:120 says "The route was from St. Joseph, along the Platte, the Pike's Peak gold fields and through Utah to San Francisco." Wear to the spine panel with tiny nicks and chips to the fore-edge extremities of the covers, with interior clean. Overall a very good copy.
