Pictures include West Avenue, Newport News Shipbuilding and Dry Dock Company, the U.S.S. Missouri, the Second Baptist Church, Washington Avenue, the U.S. Customs House and Post Office, West Avenue and 35th Street, C&O. R.R. Piers, a brewery, various churches, 33rd Street and Academy of Music, various ships, flooding the dock in preparation for arrival of ships, launching a ship at the shipyard, important buildings, "Uncle Mike" driving an ox cart, Buckroe Beach, etc. Over-sized covers worn at edges and spine along with light soiling. Very good.
