Don Frazier says, "My First Horse" first edition in dj is just about the most rare and dear Will James book." Children's book dust jackets seldom survive if they were actually ever in the hands of a child recipient. The opportunity to own a copy seldom comes along. Tiny bookseller's label at the bottom of front pastedown sheet, else a fine, bright copy in price-clipped dust jacket with light wear to the spine ends, with tiny nicks and creases to the extremities housed in a cloth slipcase with a cover drawing on one panel and titles stamped in gilt on a leather spine label. Scarce and desirable Will James item.
