First edition. 8vo. Printed wrappers, 48 pp., illustrated, map, tables, plates. A wonderful booklet that outlines in detail the agricultural advantages of South Dakota on a county by county basis. The plate on the inside front cover is titled "Chamberlain, Brule County, South Dakota, The Gateway To The Great Sioux Reservation." Map on the rear cover is a condensed map of the Chicago, Milwaukee & St. Paul Railway with the roads shown in heavy black lines. The full-page plates show scenes of livestock, harvesting, family life, a herd of buffalo, etc. Herd 2117 says "Rare." Minor wear to the fore-edge of the rear cover and a small closed tear to the bottom edge of the front cover,, else a fine, bright copy.
