Mitchell is the county seat of Davison County and is located in the east central part of the county. In 1916 it had a population of about 10,000. This booklet contains 200 views of Mitchell and Davison County including the world-famous Corn Palace (that is still present today), homes of early settlers and prominent citizens, schools and churches, county officers, court, banks, local businesses, farms, ranches, etc. Rear cover missing, last page worn and taped-in with cellophane tape, over sized front wrapper chipped and with edge tears, else a good copy.
