Original red cloth with black lettering on front cover, [3], 138 pp., frontis., plates, portraits. 8vo. Inscribed by the author and dated July 21, 1942. Six Guns 216 says, "A privately printed book with a chapter on Cullen Baker, an early Texas outlaw." Much on Cass County, Texas and the town of Kildare, early business dealings in Dallas in the lumber yard business, Texas A & M University, Ku Klux Klan, Civil War, Daughters of the Confederacy, etc. This book was considered "scarce" by Ramon Adams in 1954. Lightly rubbed along front spine channel, and light wear to spine ends, else a clean, bright, tight copy. Outlaw rarity.
