An important work, first read before the Missouri Valley Historical Society, by Meade L. McClure in 1919, and here printed in a small edition. M. L. McClure, Vice President of the Drumm Commission Company, Live Stock, Kansas City, Missouri. Drumm was at one time President of the Cherokee Livestock Association, and this memoir contains much information relevant to that Association, as well as information on the U Ranch, The Drumm Institute, etc. Text is tight and very good, with the suede covers somewhat rubbed and chipped along the edges. Protected in a cloth slipcase with leather label on the spine and titles stamped in gold gilt. Scarce item.
