Custer against soldiers in the First Iowa Cavalry related to the mutinous and illegal activity of various troops encountered by Custer when he took command of said troops upon his arrival in Alexandria, Louisiana in 1865. As expected, the resolution criticizes Custer's actions taken to address the crimes committed on a daily basis against the citizens of the Alexandria area by officers and soldiers of the First Iowa Cavalry, as well as other troops. Text block is clean and tight. Binding shows considerable rubbing and edgewear, with some external splitting to front & rear hinges. Upper third of leather spine is barely attached.
