The samples include a County of Los Angeles real estate tax payment receipt dated 1857, a stock certificate of the Antelope Silver Mining Company dated 1864, with two 25¢ revenue stamps, a San Francisco merchant's bill dated 1858, and a San Francisco bank check from 1857. Edition limited to 200 copies printed by Wm. M. Cheney. "Early California Travel Series XXVI." This is one of the very few copies to have an original example of job printing from Los Angeles.
