The first 2 pages are entitled: Indian Legends Of The Pipestone Quarries, giving some related history. It's followed by the poem, The Peace Pipe--The Song Of Hiawatha., by Longfellow; which is in-turn followed by a poem entitled: How An Indian Maiden Died. The remaining 6 pages presents a poem by D. Ivan Downs entitled: Chon-Oopa-Sa. Bound by a silk ribbon, the wrappers are detached but present, and showing a little soiling and some very light uniform tanning. Scarce.
