The baskets described and illustrated within the booklet are part of the Paul T. Seashore collection of Indian baskets that he obtained from 1930 - 1950. The collection was donated to the Texas Memorial Museum in 1951, a collection representing the works of 25 different tribes of American Indians to include Hopi, Navaho, Western Apache, Mescalero Apache, Havasupai, Pomo, Hupa, Maidu, Sinkyone, Shasta, Yokuts, Washo, Mono, Mission, Wasco, Makah, Panamint, Nevada Shoshone, Klikitat, Nez Perce, Thompson, Eskimo, Aleut and Tlingit. Booklet also offers information about the materials and techniques used. Light soiling to wrappers and with light wear to the extremities. Very good.
