Records George Maguire's efforts to collect monies for services rendered as "George Maguire acted as superintendent of Indian affairs at St. Louis, from the death of General Clark to the appointment of Major Pitcher, his successor." From September 2, 1838 to March 29, 1839. A few small, very light damp stains to corners and edges. Some minor tanning to paper. Very Good.
