He visited Montana, Indian Territory, and other Western locations for research purposes. This work is dedicated to Army life with sections about France, Great Britain, Germany, and the American West. The largest section applies to Army life in the West. Zogbaum's descriptions of the hardships and excitement of being on the march with a cavalry column is second to none. Very light wear to the spine ends, else gold and silver gilt on titles and the designs is bright and clean. Overall a fine, bright copy. An exceptional copy.
