VOLUME III: Original green cloth, gold stamping on spine, [8], 795-1179 pp., illustrated, plates, portraits, index. Former owner's name, else very good copy. Volume III calls for a frontispiece of a portrait of George Gray, which is not present in this volume, nor have we seen any copies with the portrait present. History of the state through 1907, including history of the counties and hundreds, religious denominations, public education, sketches of Delaware's governors, influential families, the judiciary, prominent lawyers, medicine and doctors, newspapers and books, art and artists, prominent citizens and biographical sketches, including Harold Pyle, etc. All volumes housed in a matching cloth slipcase with leather label on the spine and titles stamped in gold gilt.
