First edition. 8vo. in quarter black cloth over color-printed limp soft covers with embossed raised gilt lettering and art deco cover art image of cowboy and horse in full gallop. 154 pp., 4-page order form tipped in. A well-illustrated saddle and tack catalog from one of the most important makers of western harness and saddlery in the West at their height in the 1920s. Everything for the cowboy and rancher including saddles, boots, clothing, bits, spurs, belts, belt buckles, ropes, chaps, knives, stirrups and tapidaros, saddle cinchas, hats, and much more. The catalogue includes Stock Saddles ... many of them elaborately tooled, some unadorned working saddles, Texas Stock Saddles, youth saddles, saddle stirrups, Pendleton Mills saddle blankets, chaps, Stetson hats, Kodiak flannel shirts, cowboy stories by Will James, Riata and Spurs by Charles Siringo, and even Cowboy Song records. Of particular interest is the well-illustrated section on Kelly, and Crockett spurs, both noted spurs makers whose spurs could be purchased double mounted, silver plated, and with fancy engraving. Catalog fully illustrated with complete descriptions for everything offered for sale along with pricing. An interesting note is on the section where books are offered for sale four titles by Will James are offered but the caption reads "4 Books by Bill James." Books by J. R. Williams, Charles A. Siringo, Badger Clark, etc., and phonograph records of old-time cowboy songs are also available for sale. Minor creasing to corners along with very minor chipping at spine ends, else a very good copy.
