This attractive reprint of the original 1901 edition was designed and published by Carl Hertzog. Arriving in El Paso in 1858, the author has recorded an informal history of the daily events and politics in this violent frontier town. Appendix I gives biographical sketches of the important residents of El Paso who appear in the author's account. Light ink transfer on to title page from inked signings else near fine in price-clipped dust jacket with light wear to the spine ends and corners.
