This attractive reprint of the original 1901 edition was designed and published by Carl Hertzog. Arriving in El Paso in 1858, the author has recorded an informal history of the daily events and politics in this violent frontier town. Appendix I gives biographical sketches of the important residents of El Paso who appear in the author's account. Former owner's bookplate, else fine, bright copy in dust jacket.
