The title story is contained in the book Best Film Plays 1945 edited by John Gassner & Dudley Nichols. A collection of ten screenplays. complete with every word of dialogue and every bit of action exactly as produced and are the best film plays of the year 1945. They are presented in regular stage play form with four screen photographs for each story. The other film plays are The Lost Weekend, Spellbound, A Tree Grows In Brooklyn, None But The Lonely Heart, The Southerner, Ernie Pyle's Story Of G. I. Joe, Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo, Over Twenty-One, and A Medal For Benny.
Fore-edges of all pages uniformly toned, else a fine copy in dust jacket, which has trivial wear to spine ends and corners. Curiously, the front flap credits the screenplay to Billy Wilder and James M. Cain, who wrote the novella. A superior copy.
