Contains information about the Columbus Cycling Club, the planned events of the meet, Columbus businesses, a short history of "wheeling" in Columbus, list of events, entertainment, list of cycling committees, information on the 2nd Annual Tournament of the Springfield Wheelmen on September 6, 1893, etc. In additional to advertisements for bicycles there are ads for pianos, cameras, the France Medical Institute, carpets, beer, fashion, plumbers, cures for various ailments, furniture, a large advertisement for a dancing academy which will teach dancing, deportment, elocution, and a 1-page illustration of a Brocatelle Parlor Suite, which was to be first prize in the one-half-mile handicap race. An exceptional cycling piece of the late 19th century when cycling was the craze. Printed on very cheap, thin stock. Chipping around the edges, all pages present but loose and lightly toned. A very important piece of cycling history.
