"Mainly a biography of Crazy Horse, but includes a chapter on the Little Big Horn battle that relates the account of the Brule Sioux Foolish Elk. The author, a Brule Sioux himself, was not a participant in the battle, but wrote from the Indian perspective."--O'Keefe 186. A fine, bright copy of this crudely-produced work, with original Prospectus laid-in. Together with "CONQUERING THE MIGHTY SIOUX" written and edited by W. J. Bordeaux. Sioux Falls: 1929. Decorated blue cloth, 211 pp., foreword, introduction, illustrated from drawings and photographs. Information on Custer, the Little Big Horn, the Wagon Box Fight, Wounded Knee, and other fights. A fine, bright copy. These two very scarce works are presented together in a custom slipcase with Titles and Author stamped in gilt on a leather spine label. An attractive and unique combination.
