This volume contains former owner's inked name and address and a newspaper clipping about the compiler dated Dec. 14, 1962, on the front pastedown sheet, with penciled writings on the front free fly leaf and a few mostly penciled notations in a few sections of the text. Volume II: Blue pebbled cloth, titles stamped in gilt on the front cover and spine, [6], 156 - 297 mimeographed one side pages. This volume contains former owner's inked name and address and a few penciled notes on the front pastedown sheet. This county history includes historical articles about Eden and Paint Rock and the surrounding ranching area; Col J. Earl Rudder, WWII hero; Indian raids; and more. Also includes valuable genealogical information not found elsewhere: 1880 census; marriage records; cemetery inventories; more. 297pp w/index. TWO VOLUMES bound in blue cloth binding for one-sided typescript pages, [NOTE: Limitation of 300 copies quoting the author in newspaper article pasted inside front cover.] A tremendous amount of work went into the preparation of these two volumes.
