First edition. Very good, clean copy in dust jacket with minor rubbing to front flap, pink portions of the spine faded, and with a couple of tiny chips at the extremities. Hugh Morris Drake, an automobile manufacturer from Detroit, is found murdered in his hotel room. Drake had been traveling as a member of a small Round the World travel party. At first, the case seemed quite simple but, before Inspector Duff could discover any convincing evidence, the remainder of the travel party moved on, widening the distance between the murder site and the suspects. An attractive copy of the final Charlie Chan adventure.
