This book contains much information on the buffalo, the plains, Indians, hunting, Buffalo Bill, Wild Bill Hickok, etc. Six Guns # 2331 says "Rare" and "Contains some material on Wild Bill Hickok (which the author spells Hickock). He admits that Wild Bill gained his reputation 'through Harper's Magazine' and says that 'much has been written about him is fiction." An attractively bound book with a few tiny rubs to the leather else a near fine copy and the nicest copy that we have handled.
