Much on outlaws, especially John Wesley Hardin, including an account of his killing Sheriff Charlie Webb in Comanche in 1874, and the subsequent lynching of Hardin's brother Joe and two companions near Comanche. Hardin was later tried in Comanche, yet this title is not in Adams SIX GUNS. The book incorporates the memoirs of the author's father, Wm. J. Nabers, Indian fighter and Texas Ranger and many fierce Indian encounters are documented herein. Pioneer life by participants or their immediate descendants. Fine, unread copy.
