Includes biographical sketches for each of over 150 Arizona writers. For reasons now unknown to the publisher, some copies were bound in blue cloth with a 1934 imprint on title page and others were bound in reddish-brown cloth with a 1935 imprint. Includes sections entitled, "Tales of Adventurers," "Novels," "Poetry," "Biography and Autobiography," "Description and Exposition," "Legends," "Spanish Translations," etc. Two small closed tears to bottom edge of first two sheets, else a near fine copy.without dust jacket, as issued.
