Santee lived on the Apache Reservation, ran wild horses with them and made many close friends among them. The result is an intimate knowledge of and a deep affection for the Apache and his country. Fine, bright, tight copy in very good dust jacket. Dust jacket shows light general soiling and moderate wear to edges, and some light chipping to spine ends. Original pen sketch (5.5'x2.5") by Santee on upper half of front free-endpaper. Protected in custom slipcase.
