Many for divorces, authorizing money for the poor, construction projects, need to fill vacant public offices, persons having stray cattle, etc. to give a description of them to the town clerk, persons using seines or nets to catch whitefish must provide the length and width of same to township clerk, and many, many more of a similar nature. Former owner's inked name on top edge of front cover, fore-edges, moderately chipped, else interior is in nice, serviceable condition. Overall a very good copy of an informative item before Michigan became a state.
