First edition. 4to. Signed by the author on the title page. Pictorial stiff wrappers, [2], 14 pp., illustrated from photographs, maps, double column, footnotes. Laid-in to this copy is a typed letter signed by the author and dated in 1986. The letter is addressed to a Tucson bookseller and talks about the books the author has written. The author provides a summary of travel to the Grand Canyon through the years; first on foot, then by horse, stagecoach, train, and airplane. An interesting study along with some interesting photographs of scenes, people, hotels, trains, etc. Well done and of much interest. Fine copy.
