Publication: J A Van Harlingen & Co, Printers and Publishers, 1909, Sonora

First edition. 8vo. 8 1/2" x 11 1/4" oblong, pictorial, stiff wrappers, 112 pp., double column, illustrated from photographs, maps. Promotes Tuolumne County as the "Garden spot of California, most blessed of the blest by God and nature ..... rich in all that goes to make up health, wealth, and happiness." The text is quite detailed and includes much on the Tuolumne Water Power Company, agriculture, gold mining (with brief descriptions of more than 60 individual mines), marble and limestone quarries, and lumber companies, as well as descriptions of each of the principal towns and many of the businesses in Sonora. A few small, old water drop stains to the front cover, lightly chipped along the bottom edge of the front cover, light wear to the spine ends, and light wear to bottom corner of front cover, else a very good, clean copy.
