The inventory includes 318 sites with the majority constructed before 1925. The inventory of sites include copper and iron mining, bulk products and manufacturing industries, utilities, power sources and prime movers, transportation including railroad, lighthouses, & railroad buildings, bridges and trestles including girder, arched, trussed and other bridge types, and specialized structures. On the front cover are words stamped in black ink, "State Historical Society of North Dakota," and "Federal Depository Document." Also penciled notations on the front cover dated "Sept. 15, 1978," else a very good, tight, internally clean copy.
