Publication: Privately printed, 1922, Pendelton

9" x 8" in pictorial wrapper, folded horizontally in half, printed in brown ink. Double-column text. Illustrations. A great little brochure touting the rodeo put on by the Round-Up in Oregon. "Thirty-five outlaws, the hardest riding, best bucking string in the world, are owned by the Round-Up. Here the bucking contest for the championship of the world and the world's championship gold and silver belt is thrown open to all cowboys, and two hundred in chaps, spurs and sombreros ride it out." Information on the cowgirls' bucking contest, cowgirls' relay race, roping the long-horns, wild steer bull-dogging, trick and fancy riding, the Indian round-up, the town of Pendleton, accommodations, railroad fares, visit to the Round-Up by Tom Mix, etc. Photographs of horses, riders, etc. throughout. Also laid-in is a 3 1/2" x 6 1/4" photograph of "Scene at the Pendleton Roundup" clipped from a newspaper. Light soiling and with light wear to fold and extremities. Very good.
