A printed letter from the company with small map on verso tipped in (with splits on folds). These bonds run twenty years. Information on railroad connections, road traffic, census for 1870, Charter of the company approved in 1870 and amended in 1871. "Said company is determined to borrow money on an issue of bonds, not to exceed three million five hundred thousand dollars in their aggregate principal amount, nor to exceed four thousand bonds in number, one thousand of which bonds are to be for the principal sum of five hundred dollars each and the remaining three thousand of which are to be for the principal sum of one thousand dollars each, all to bear interest at the rate of eight per centum per annum, interest payable in semi-annual installments." Document removed from binder with tape along spine, front wrapper splitting along tape (3" to top and 1" to bottom). Light soiling and with wear to extremities. Map in nice condition.
